Your children have been sitting behind a desk for most of the day! Give them the chance to get some much-needed exercise before they settle back in to finish their homework. The dojo offers a highly beneficial fitness program while still providing adequate time for homework before they arrive back home. Statistically, children who break up academics with a solid balance of physical activities are more effective and remain focused on studies for longer durations. The Dojo's uniquely designed karate programs are an effective way of engaging youth while fostering educational learning skills. We're often asked how our academy is so effective at improving a child's grades. The easy answer is how we teach, not what we teach. It isn't just about kicks and punches. Every member of our staff graduates from a tri-level course that ensures success as effective, age-appropriate educators. This certification process guarantees method consistency and utilizes the martial arts to pattern their thinking, all while improving their coordination, fitness and self-esteem. 



This program operates in conjunction with the Dekalb County Schools calendar. The Dojo A.S.K. program will be closed during Dekalb County holidays, inclement weather postings and closed dates, as specified by the county. This program is not licensed by the State of Georgia, nor is it required to be.
